Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby red colour, brilliant and clean. Rich red fruit aromas with a touch of age create an elegant reflection of powerful flavours. Aromas and flavors of candied plums, blue cotton candy, roasted and candied sweet peppers.
Menthol and cedar plank with a syrupy, vibrant, sweet full body and a warming, complex, very long finish displaying notes of chocolate graham cracker with cherry preserves, dried cherries and roasted vanilla glazed pecans, and apple cinnamon toast with soft tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor.
Food Pairing: An excellent after dinner Port to pair with a mild Maduro cigar, flourless chocolate cake, or blue cheese.
